Eng. Joseph Kariuki M. Rwara

Has extensive experience in engineering, management and leadership after working with Kenya Power for 32 years. Has been a member of Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and also a registered member with Engineers Board of Kenya. After retirement, he has been vigorously pursuing studies in psychological counselling, a field he has been passionate about after witnessing some desperate cases in society; he believes strongly that this new body of knowledge he has acquired, in addition to his past experience, will help him take part in resolving the myriad of psychological problems facing a great majority of people today.

• A Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary, USA.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical and Communication Technology from Moi University.
• Diploma from Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling (Awaiting graduation set for end of this year).
• Certificate in Training of Trainers/Facilitators from Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling.
• Certificate in Universal Treatment Curriculum from NACADA.
• Member of International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP).
• Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Practitioner Course from Udemy.
